3 hours short walking tour mainly along the shinmachi street that has roofs. First we visit Nebuta Museum Warasse where you can learn local summer festival Aomori Nebuta festival. Then we walk through a commertial street to a shinto shrine Utoh shrine. Pray for your good health and hapiness of your family members there. After that, you can enjoy souvenir shopping at a big triagler building ASPAM. At ASPAM, you can try Japanese Sake Tasting. Or I'll take you a coffee shop(my recommendation) to take a break. Half-day JOMON World Cultural Heritage Sites Tour in Aomori City

In this tour, we visit 2 of 17 Jomon pre-historic sites near Aomori city.(Listed on UNESCO world cultural heritage sites). In each site, you can see around the excavated sites and artifact museums. You can touch and feel the spirit of Jomon period. Lunch is available at Sannai Maruyama site. 1.At Komakino Site You can see a real stone circle made in Jomon period. It was found by local high school students who were excavating around this site as a school subject. The unique stone line is famous nation wide as Komakino style stone line. Excavated artifacts are seen at a museum named Jomon-no Manabiya Komakinokan. 2.At Sannai Maruyama site This site is considered to be one of the biggest villages of Jomon period where over 500 people were living together. There lives were kept by mainly huntings and gatherings. But some proofs of cultivation such as chenut trees had been found here. The symbol of Sannai maruyama site is a huge restored tower consists of 6 big chesnut tree logs.
