The North Saskatchewan River valley parks system, also known as the Ribbon of Green or the River Valley Parks, is a continuous collection of urban parks around the North Saskatchewan River valley in the Edmonton Metropolitan Region of Alberta, Canada. The park system encompasses over 7,300 hectares of parkland, making it the largest contiguous area of urban parkland in the country. The park system is made up of over 30 provincial and municipal parks situated around the river from Devon to Fort Saskatchewan, with trails connecting most of the parks together. . Wikipedia

Sol Duc Falls Guided Tour in Olympic National Park

The Sol Duc River Valley is one of the largest and most beautiful watersheds in Olympic National Park, highlighted by the spectacular Sol Duc Falls. This 4 hour van tour begins with a scenic 1 hour 15 minute shuttle past the Elwha Valley, around Lake Crescent, and into the Sol Duc Valley. Upon arrival at the Sol Duc Trailhead, guests will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to hike through ancient old-growth forests to Sol Duc Falls (0.8 miles one-way) and explore its picturesque viewing areas. Guests can book our optional Naturalist Guided Hiking Tour or can choose explore the Sol Duc on their own.

Half Day Walk&Wade (Fly-Fishing / Spin Casting from shore)

Fishing along the shoreline of several rivers in the stunningly beautiful Columbia River Valley. On these Walk & Wade trips you can expect detailed instruction. Demonstrating different casting methods, lure selection, and much more fishing/outdoor advice. We’ll be offering either fly-fishing or spin casting options. Walk & Wade trips will be fishing along the Columbia, Akolkolex and Eagle Rivers, depending on water conditions, and seasons. These trips will be including instruction on different fly-fishing cast, fly to use and different methods of present them, species identification, tying different fishing knots and other fishing/outdoor tips. Trips will be held on the Columbia River for the first couple months of operation. All fishing equipment necessary for the trip will be provided: tackle, rods, waders, photos / videos. A quality experience; with knowledgeable guided instruction.
