Half-Day Small-Group Kayaking Tour in Makarska

The first stop will be the lighthouse, St. Peter, from the 19th century where you will learn some interesting history lessons. Both lakes are said to be connected with underground channels to the Adriatic Sea.

We start our tour in Peračko Blato where you can leave your car (free parking). After a short safety talk and equipment handling we will proceed with the tour. We'll paddle through the beautiful nature of Baćina lakes for about one hour, exploring flora and fauna of the lakes, making photos in water lily fields and then have a short swimming / picnic break in a remote lagoon before going back to the starting point. In our tours we use stable kayaks that can fit two adult persons and one child.

This biking tour begins at the top of Vidova Gora, the highest peak of the island Brač, and ends at the seaside. The path is 22 kilometres long, and it takes about 2:30 hours to cross it. The interesting part of this tour is the completely different vegetation and climate you will experience on the mountain top and at the seaside. Vidova Gora mountain offers not only the best view on the island, but also pristine nature and a great biking trail. Descending from the mountain, sheltered by the black pines we will go towards the villages. We will pass through Nerežišća - located on the crossroads of the island's main roads and Škrip – the oldest settlement in Brač, where we will visit the Museum of Oil. The museum presents the traditional process of olive oil making on the island of Brač. The Museum of Oil exhibits olive mill, olive press, spindle for tightening press screw, bags, fireplace for heating water and all traditional tools for transport, production and storage of olive oil.
