This is the perfect way to get to know the town and then figure out what else you want to do. Comfortably seats 2 people per rickshaw (a small 3rd person works sometimes also). Our professionally-led guided tour includes stops along the spectacular Leelanau bike trail where you'll learn about local history, wildflower identification, wineries, and more. Views of Grand Traverse Bay, picturesque farms, vineyards, and visits to two nature preserves along the trail make this one the region's most popular paved bike and pedestrian-only trails. A picnic of delicious local food and drinks is included. Although the guided tour is 5 hours, guests are welcome to keep their bikes the entire day. Distance total: 34 miles round-trip.

With 35 Miles of coastline designated as Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Where should I go? What should I see? Our tour provides access to all of it. As well, you'll be accompanied by a guide well-versed in the area History, Flora & Fauna and geologic formation of the Great lakes and Dune formations. Sleeping Bear is fantastic in and of itself, but having a guide to explain everything from the Native Tribes that once roamed the area, to the geologic forces that leave us with the Great Lakes we know today, greatly enhances ours guests visit to Sleeping Bear. Oh, and guests rave about our catered lunch. It's delicious!
Sunset Sail from Traverse City with Food, Wine & Cocktails
Wind down and relax as our captain and first mate teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced gourmet food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 3-hour sail. The tour starts at 6:30 p.m. with check-in beginning at 5:45 p.m. Expected return time is 9:30 p.m. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 8:00 p.m. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Please bring rain gear, a beach towel, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. There may be an opportunity to swim, weather and wind permitting. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.
